B-B-B-Biiiiig file! xD
This is the pen&ink project that I worked on this whole semester.....dang it took a long time! XD
I love/hate it because it took sooooo long! but the result paid off...the hours of monotonous texturing... x_x
Its an "accordian book" made of eight 6"x6" panels put together (making it 6"x48"... about as long as my arms can stretch.. maybe I'll post a picture of me holding it up ).
We were supposed to choose two opposites for each end to have and meet them in the middle... so I chose land and sea, a good landscape-ish exercise.
(btw its supposed to go through the different stages to meet eachother, so its not supposed to be completely realistic in a scale sense)
I learned alot about texturing... because there is no "light" and "dark" marks with pens... you build values by strokes..
naturally this looks 10x better in person.. (dang scanner :<)
most of the seams you see are the creases between panels, ... there may be errors when I scanned it in piece by piece.. it was hard putting 8 different images perfectly lined up Oo
annnnyways! I worked long and hard on this... enjoy!
